The Shoulder of MuttonIn 2008 Andy and business partner Chris formed Lancashire Taverns Limited. The first pub to open was the Shoulder of Mutton in Holcombe Village. A major refurbishment was completed in 2010. Customers have commented that the transformation has been a great success. The light, airy, welcoming pub/restaurant has retained a certain comfy rural charm. Besides village locals, this award winning pub is very popular with walkers and trippers who are attracted to the rugged countryside surrounding Holcombe and Ramsbottom. The Pack HorseFebruary 2012 and the Pack Horse, Affetside opens its doors once more. A five course gourmet Valentines menu was just the start of what will be on offer at this exciting venue. Also includes The Courtyard Brasserie. The Chetham ArmsIn his teens, Chris Yates worked at the Chetham; now in his early twenties, Chris is chef/patron. It has a Lancashire Taverns' blend of the best in cask conditioned ales, home cooked food from one of the north’s best young chefs and an atmosphere that brings together old world charm and contemporary hospitality. The Chetham is a traditional 18th century pub in the picturesque moorland village of Chapeltown. Whether you want a quiet drink, a quick lunch, a leisurely family dinner, or just somewhere to meet friends . . . the Chetham Arms is whatever you want it to be! The WheatsheafIn June 2011 the Wheatsheaf opened its doors once again to the people of Littleborough. Situated in the heart of the village it provides a wide range of value food and drink options. The pub is also equipped with large TV screens and all major sporting events are shown. Function rooms are available for conferences/weddings etc. Whether it's a pie and a pint or Sunday lunch for all the family, the Wheasheaf caters for all. The Footballers InnThe fifth Lancashire Taverns' pub and the third to reopen in 2011. After some initial controversy surrounding signage and the high number of Manchester United photos, the Footballer's Inn has settled down. Once again staff are working hard to make this much loved pub the heart of the local community. |
